The reconstruction of the port area in Limassol 2013 built a large rain water channel, which touched the flow of water in the Zakaki Marsh area and Salt Lake. Promised was a sustainable restoration of the marsh area, the surface of the water and the Habitat of the bird world, even a visitor hide was raised. Three years later, the reeds abounds hardly more free water surface area, fewer and fewer birds, more and more pollution caused by waste.
